The Red Deer Co-op Limited is a diverse co-operative retailing organization with over 40,000 members located halfway between Edmonton and Calgary. Red Deer is a beautiful city with a population of 85,000 serving a trading area of 250,000 in Central Alberta. We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Manager for our Downtown Plaza location. Our reduced Pharmacy hours allow for increased family time as we are open 9-7 Monday to Friday and 10 to 5 on Saturdays and closed on Sundays and holidays. We offer an excellent wage and benefit package including pension and a moving allowance. Alberta licensing fees are paid, per prescription bonus, and a strong blister pack business. The Pharmacy operates without a cash register. The store has been completely renovated making for an enjoyable work environment with a separate compounding room, large private consultation room, ample work area and current technology. There is ample opportunity for patient interaction and pharmaceutical care with a current staff of 4 pharmacists and 4 technicians providing plenty of overlap in a team environment.
We are also seeking a temporary Full-time and/or Part-time Pharmacist to cover an upcoming Maternity leave in the same Pharmacy, with the same reduced hours of operation.
